About Metapod Metapod is the evolved form of Caterpie and retains its Bug-type classification as the Cocoon Pokémon. During this stage of its evolution, Metapod undergoes a dramatic transformation, encasing itself in a hard shell for protection. Although it has limited offensive capabilities, Metapod’s Shed Skin ability allows it to periodically heal from status conditions. However, it remains vulnerable to Fire, Flying, and Rock-type Pokémon due to its Bug-type weaknesses.
Evolution Metapod evolves from Caterpie starting at level 7. After reaching level 10, Metapod evolves into its final form, Butterfree, a graceful and powerful Bug/Flying-type Pokémon.
Training and Experience Gain Training Metapod can be challenging due to its limited moveset during this stage. Focus on battles against Grass and Psychic-type Pokémon for experience, and consider switching it out to a stronger Pokémon during combat. Participating in battles and defeating wild Pokémon will help Metapod gain experience and level up.
