About Ekans Ekans is a Poison-type Pokémon known as the Snake Pokémon. It is a long and serpentine creature with a unique ability to unhinge its jaw to swallow large prey. Ekans is stealthy and can move silently to surprise opponents. Its Poison-type moves give it an advantage against Grass and Fairy-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Ground and Psychic-type Pokémon.
Evolution Ekans evolves into Arbok starting at level 22. Arbok is the second stage of its evolution and retains the Poison-typing. There is no further evolution beyond Arbok.
