About Pikachu Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokémon known as the Mouse Pokémon. It is one of the most iconic and beloved Pokémon, recognizable by its yellow fur and cute appearance. Pikachu is highly popular among trainers and is often chosen as a starter Pokémon. Its Electric-type moves give it an advantage against Water and Flying-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Ground-type Pokémon.
Evolution Pikachu evolves from Pichu when leveled up with high friendship. It is the first stage of its evolution. Pikachu evolves into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. In the Alola region, it has an additional Alolan form, Alolan Raichu, which evolves from Pikachu when exposed to a Thunder Stone specifically in the Alola region.
