About Shellder Shellder is a Water-type Pokémon known as the Bivalve Pokémon. It resembles a small, bivalve mollusk with a protective, spiky shell. Shellder is typically found in bodies of water, clinging to rocks and corals. When threatened, Shellder will retreat into its shell, making it difficult to attack. However, it is not capable of swimming with the shell closed, so it often relies on its partner, Slowpoke, to provide protection. Shellder is known for its powerful biting force, using its sharp teeth to clamp onto prey or objects. As a Water-type Pokémon, Shellder has an advantage against Fire, Ground, and Rock-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Electric and Grass-type Pokémon.
