About Onix Onix is a dual-type Rock/Ground Pokémon known as the Rock Snake Pokémon. It is a massive and imposing creature, resembling a serpentine rock formation. Onix’s body is composed of large boulders and rocks, making it highly durable and resistant to most attacks. It has the ability to burrow deep underground, creating tunnels and passages as it moves through the earth. Onix’s long and sturdy body allows it to traverse even the toughest terrains with ease. Despite its intimidating appearance, Onix is known to be docile and gentle, unless provoked. As a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon, Onix has an advantage against Fire, Electric, Poison, and Rock-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Ground, and Steel-type Pokémon.
Evolution Onix does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon, but it can undergo Mega Evolution into Mega Steelix using the Steelixite.
Training and Experience Gain To train Onix effectively, focus on battles against Fire, Electric, Poison, and Rock-type Pokémon to gain an advantage and increased experience points. Defeat wild Pokémon and participate in trainer battles to help Onix level up faster.
