About Tentacool Tentacool is a dual-type Water/Poison Pokémon known as the Jellyfish Pokémon. It resembles a blue jellyfish with a clear, bell-shaped body and long tentacles. Tentacool is a sea-dwelling Pokémon and is often found in large groups floating on the ocean’s surface. Its tentacles are covered in a toxic substance that it uses to paralyze and trap its prey. It can also release a cloud of toxic spores when threatened. Its Water/Poison typing gives it an advantage against Fire, Ground, Rock, and Electric-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Psychic, Ground, and Electric-type Pokémon.
Evolution Tentacool evolves into Tentacruel starting at level 30.
