About Raichu Raichu is the evolved form of Pikachu and retains its Electric-type classification as the Mouse Pokémon. This Pokémon is larger and more powerful than its pre-evolved form, Pikachu. Raichu is known for its ability to generate powerful electric currents, and its long tail serves as a grounding rod. Its Electric-type moves give it an advantage against Water and Flying-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Ground-type Pokémon.
Evolution Raichu evolves from Pikachu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. In the Alola region, Pikachu evolves into Alolan Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone specifically in the Alola region. There is no further evolution beyond Raichu and Alolan Raichu.
