About Sandslash Sandslash is the evolved form of Sandshrew and retains its Ground-type classification as the Mouse Pokémon. This Pokémon is larger and more powerful than its pre-evolved form, Sandshrew. Sandslash is known for its tough, spiky back and sharp claws, which it uses for digging and slashing attacks. Its Ground-type moves give it an advantage against Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon, but it is weak against Water, Ice, and Grass-type Pokémon.
Evolution Sandslash evolves from Sandshrew starting at level 22. There is no further evolution beyond Sandslash.
